Director of FinanceSenior Accountant with a strong background in payroll, labor management, and general accounting tasks.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Primary
Responsibilities:
oManage payroll processing, including calculating and entering employee hours, taxes, and deductions into the payroll system.
oPrepare the necessary reports and records to maintain accurate and timely payroll information.
oMonitor labor costs and provide assistance in developing strategies for labor cost reduction.
oPrepare journal entries and other general ledger maintenance.
oReconcile bank statements and accounts.
Next Level duties:
oAssist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
oAssist in monthly financial statement close process.
oPrepare journal entries and other general ledger maintenance.
oAssist with the preparation and coordination of audits.
oParticipate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Must have
Qualifications:
oBachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
o3
years of experience in payroll and general accounting.
oProficient in Excel and MS Office applications.
